Elk Grove Village Public Library Takes Precautionary Measures in Wake of the Coronavirus

In the interest of public health, the Elk Grove Village Public Library is taking the following precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus. These changes are not due to any known exposure at our Library.

• The Library will remain OPEN during its regular hours of operation

• Programs and classes are cancelled through March 31

• All items having due dates between March 12 and 31 are now due on April 1

• Deliveries to senior centers have been suspended until further notice

• The circulation of toys in Youth Services are prohibited until further notice

• Every other public computer will be out of service to encourage social distancing

• All other library services are currently available for use

• The Library will undergo a deep cleaning in addition to an increased cleaning regiment

We encourage you to do your part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. While we love your visits, if you're not feeling well, please stay home and seek medical attention as appropriate. Practice good hygiene and handwashing. These healthy habits will make a difference in preventing the spread of illness.
