The best Democrat for judgeship

There are five candidates running in the Democratic primary for our local judgeship (Northwest Suburbs).

Don't get fooled. One of them, Suzanne Groebner, is really a Republican.

She ran two years ago in the Republican primary for the same office and lost. In fact, her campaign committee is listed with the State Board of Elections still shows she is a Republican. Mrs. Groebner's campaign flyer from two years ago shows her with a "Conservative Republican" sign next to her.

Judicial candidates should be held to a higher level of integrity than other offices.

All of Suzanne Groebner's campaign literature, website, and billboards portray her as a judge; she isn't. It looks like she is wearing a judge's robe, and with law books on her desk or bookcase behind her.

The only true Democrat in the race is Matt Flamm of Palatine. Besides being a prominent attorney, he is also the Palatine Township Democratic Committeeman.

More importantly, he has worked to elect Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi from the very beginning.

Our Judicial Subcircuit race is the very last item to vote for on the long ballot. Remember, you are not through voting till you punch #232 for Matt Flamm.
