Right choice in Will County

I am an IBEW Local 134 member and I fully endorse Nick Palmer for Will County executive. While I speak only for myself and not my union, I have known Nick for over a decade and I have seen firsthand his dedication, as chief of staff to the current county executive, to creating good-paying union jobs in Will County by supporting projects like the building of a new courthouse, a new animal control facility, and a new health department, all while helping to lower the county tax rate five years in a row.

He has also helped to secure $1.2 billion in state funding for our local roads and bridges - projects that lead to hundreds of union jobs. Finally, Nick grew up in a Proud Union Home - both of his parents were union schoolteachers.

While Nick's opponent is attacking him by insinuating that he is not on board with union labor, nothing could be farther from the truth. Nick has the experience and the values that let me know that he is absolutely the right choice to be our next Will County Executive.
