Lake Villa library cancels public programs
Lake Villa District Library has canceled all public programs and meeting room reservations through March 31. The measures are being taken out of caution, not due to any known exposure, library officials said. All patrons affected by the service interruption are being notified, and a message has been posted to the library's website and social media. The library remains open to the public. Maintenance staff have enhanced cleaning efforts throughout the facility. Shared toys, games and activities have been removed. Planned distancing at public computers is in place. Homebound delivery has been suspended, and material due dates have been extended.
