18-year-old charged in Naperville home burglary

An 18-year-old Harvey man has been charged in connection with a home burglary in Naperville and detectives are investigating whether he may be involved in other area burglaries, authorities said Thursday.

Malik Pearson has been charged with residential burglary for entering a residence on the 800 block of Shiloh Circle, Naperville police said.

Police are reminding residents to lock their homes and vehicles and to never leave keys, purses, wallets, phones or other valuables in vehicles, even if they're locked.
