CMIT Solutions hosts cybersecurity event

CHICAGO - CMIT Solutions is launching a free educational lunch and learn series. There will be a total of 14 events taking place across the nation through December 2020 with the first event kicking off at 10 a.m. March 10 at Hemmingway's Bistro in Oak Park.

"Brunch Not Breach" is an event for business owners, presidents, general managers, IT directors and managing partners. Attendees will be given detailed information on the importance of having a business continuity plan in place. Business continuity plans provide a system for prevention and recovery when malicious cyberattacks, data losses and natural disasters strike. The presentation will be led by Jeremy Treister, president of CMIT Solutions of Chicago Downtown. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation along with an opportunity to schedule an appointment with one of CMIT's IT experts to help build a business continuity plan.
