Fox Waterway Boaters

Attention Fox Lake Waterway Boaters

Since the 2020 boating season is fast approaching it may be time for those who need to take a Safe Boating course to get registered for one of the classes presented by the USCG Auxiliary Fox Lake flotilla.

Where: Fox Lake Community Center or Wauconda Public Library

When: Our 8 hour course is taught on Saturdays

Time: Classes run 9-5 at Wauconda and Fox Lake)

(All Illinois boaters born on or after January 1, 1998 must have a Boating Safety Card to operate a motorized vessel)

Topics include:

• Introduction to Boating

• Navigation

• Boat Safety Equipment

• Trailering, Storing, Protecting a Boat

• Safe Boating

• Hunting, Fishing, Skiing, River Boating

Currently Available dates:

• March 7th Wauconda

• March 21st Fox lake

• April 18th Fox Lake

• May 2nd Wauconda

• May 16th Fox Lake

• June 20th Fox lake

Cost: $35 per student
