A Golden Night under the Golden Arches for Buzz Aldrin Elementary.

Hoffman Estates| Buzz Aldrin students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the school's annual McTeacher's Night. Teachers and support staff from Buzz Aldrin volunteered behind the counter and at the Drive-Thru on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the Hoffman Estates McDonald's located on Roselle Rd., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser. Cold temperatures did not hinder the success of this night. During this night of Fundraising, teachers took turns in the Apple Pie costume while selling pies to customers, as well as helping make Ice Cream Treats, Call out to-go orders, Deliver fresh hot meals to the dine-in customers, and work the Drive-Thru. The proceeds from the 240 pies sold went directly to help support the Buzz Aldrin PTA. A percentage of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to the PTA. David Bear, Owner/Operator of the Hoffman Estates McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
