Hanover Park leaders hosting event March 8 to mark International Women's Day, suffrage

Hanover Park Clerk Eira Corral Sepúlveda, Trustee Sharmin Shahjahan and Trustee Fanny López Benítez will host a Tea Time on March 8, International Women's Day, to celebrate 100 years since women achieved the right to vote in the United States.

The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the Hanover Park Park District, 1919 Walnut Ave., in Hanover Park.

They also are seeking nominations to honor women and young girls who most significantly impacted the Village of Hanover Park. Nominations can be filled out at https://forms.gle/ZGpuFW6PzLguNcxh9.
