Schools, guns and Texas

Regarding the story "Did Senate candidate bring gun to school?":

I am glad that we have a person who has a FOID card and concealed carry permit to protect our children in school all day.

Our children are safer when a trained person has a gun close by to repel any crazy person with hate who wants to kill children in school. Texas allows schoolteachers to have concealed guns brought to school, and not one school has been victim to a crazy shooter.

Do we have to move to Texas? Many people are moving to Texas.
