Judge candidate is highly regarded, experienced

The primary election is intended for the voters to nominate their choices to run in the actual election to be held in November. Don't be confused, the primary does not elect candidates but only allows them to appear on the November ballot if they win the nomination. That's where we come in. Judges sitting in our courts require serious consideration by the voters. Keep in mind that at one time or another, you or even a member of your family may appear before one of these judges. Therefore, we need to choose wisely.

Not many people have the ability or time to look into the qualifications of those running for judge. As in the past, I have again looked into the qualifications of all of those seeking nomination for the 13th Judicial Circuit race here in Rolling Meadows. Based on the evidence, in the Democratic race, I found that only one meets those high standards.

With over 40 combined years of experience including those as a sitting in judge, a former criminal prosecutor, a gang task force member, a former public defender and as an adjunct law professor, Judge Mike Gerber is the only experienced judge running in our district. In addition, Gerber has been found by all of the bar associations as qualified or recommended, and is highly recommended by the Illinois State Bar. Judge Gerber is also endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police and was awarded the Prosecutor of the Year Award by the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists in 2016.

Judge Mike Gerber is slated as a Democrat, so if you are a pulling a Democratic ballot this March, he is by far the best choice.
