Lake County launches home visit program for new parents
A new visiting service for expectant mothers and families with children up to age 5 has been launched in Lake County.
The voluntary program, called igrow Lake County, will match families with trained professionals to provide one-on-one family support and coaching in their own home. Subjects include developmental screenings, understanding and responding to a child's needs and learning how to discuss child's health with medical providers.
