Spencer hits go-ahead 3, balanced Loyola (Md.) tops Army

BALTIMORE (AP) - Cam Spencer hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 40 seconds left, Andrew Kostecka scored 17 points to lead five Loyola (Md.) players in double figures and the Greyhounds edged past Army 81-77 on Wednesday night.

Isaiah Hart added 16 points for the Greyhounds. Santi Aldama chipped in 13, KaVaughn Scott scored 12 and Spencer had 11. Scott also had 12 rebounds.

Lonnie Grayson and Matt Wilson each scored 20 points for the Black Knights (13-13, 8-7 Patriot League). Tommy Funk had 17 points and nine assists. Josh Caldwell added 11 points.

The Greyhounds evened the season series against the Black Knights with the win. Army defeated Loyola (Md.) 81-80 on Jan. 18.

Loyola (Md.) (14-14, 6-9) faces Lafayette on the road on Saturday. Army plays Navy at home on Saturday.
