Vernon Hills library mini-con set for March 15

The Cook Memorial Public Library District's annual mini-con will be held March 15, at the Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

Running from 1 to 4:30 p.m., the event will feature comic book writers and artists from throughout the Chicago area, as well as activities for readers of all ages.

The featured guest speaker will be award-winning comic book creator Gene Ha. Registration isn't needed.
