Barrington High School Senior Aarthi Koripelly Named 2020 Coca-Cola Scholarship Finalist

Barrington High School senior Aarthi Koripelly has been named a 2020 Coca-Cola Scholarship Finalist. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based award that recognizes students for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

Nearly 100,000 students applied, and only 251 advanced as finalists. There will be upcoming rounds of interviews and 150 of the finalists will be named Coca Cola Scholars. Scholars will win a $20,000 scholarship and attend a 4-day Scholars Convention at the Coca-Cola Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Senior Aarthi Koripelly has been involved in FIRST Robotics throughout high school and community service as President of Leo Club. She is currently Co-President of Girl Code, a writer for the Trill Project, and performed research at the University of Chicago last summer.
