Leyden's Abundes nets 16 in final home game

Leyden's girls basketball team ended its regular season on Thursday with a 47-42 win over Lincoln Park on Senior Night.

Playing her final home game, Evelyn Abundes exploded for a game-high 16 points.

The Eagles (12-16) face Loyola at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Class 4A New Trier regional.
