Lake County Board honors Didech

The Lake County Board honored former Commissioner Adam Didech during its meeting Tuesday.

Didech, a Buffalo Grove Democrat, resigned effective Monday because of a health issue. He'd been on the board since December 2018.

Board Chairwoman Sandy Hart said it's been "wonderful" working with Didech and read a resolution that recognized some of his accomplishments.

The board will name his successor as the county's 20th District representative at an upcoming meeting, following a search for qualified candidates.
