Why it's important to vote Democratic

Shame on the GOP. They proved to be traitors and not patriots. They refuse to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic." They support the president who asks for foreign interference with our elections. Their important duty is to uphold the checks and balances between the three coequal branches of government because the Founding Fathers did not want a monarchy.

The president threatened our national security and democracy for his own political benefits. Lamar Alexander admitted that the Democrats proved their case: "The president asked Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter. He said this on television."

Trump may have been acquitted, he may be censured, but he will never be exonerated. History will show that Trump is impeached forever and that the GOP enabled him to undermine our democracy and our Constitution.

Ben Franklin said, " We have a republic if we can keep it." We can keep our democracy only if we vote. We the people outnumber Trump's base. We have power at the ballot box. Those of us who care about saving America will vote Democratic on every ballot in every election - local, state and national. Do your part, Americans - vote.
