Carol Stream woman charged with battery at girls basketball game

Bartlett police Friday arrested a 31-year-old Carol Stream woman on a Class A misdemeanor charge for battery following investigation of a physical altercation that occurred Wednesday, Feb. 5, during a girls basketball game at Eastview Middle School, 321 Oak Ave.

Jessica V. Holst is accused of stepping onto the basketball court during a game between Eastview and Tefft Middle School and putting her hands on one of the players from Tefft.

No one was injured.

On Friday, Holst was released on a $100 individual bail bond and assigned a next court date of March 11 at the Cook County Courthouse in Rolling Meadows.
