Morrison to host second senior tech seminar Feb. 13

State Rep. Tom Morrison (R-Palatine) is encouraging area senior citizens to sign up for a free educational seminar about using smartphones and utilizing today's technology.

The event will be Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Rolling Meadows Public Library, 3110 Martin Lane.

The presentation will begin at 1 p.m. and include information on using wireless devices to improve your life, keeping your phone and information private, and helping you connect safely. The second portion of the seminar will include demonstrations, discussions and time for questions.

This is the second Senior Technology Seminar the representative has hosted for residents in his 54th district.

"Our first event drew a great turnout, and I am excited to again bring this resource to residents in my district," said Morrison.

"Seniors in our community can benefit from the hands-on help available at this event, and can learn the best ways to continue to keep in touch with loved ones, from messaging to apps and everything in between, to help make their lives a little easier."

An RSVP is required. To register, call (847) 202-6584.
