Petra Cresson named Artis Senior Living of Bartlett 2019 Positive Partner of the Year

At Artis Senior Living of Bartlett, we take tremendous pride in the exceptional care and well-being of our residents, and in supporting their devoted families, but also in the recognition of our talented and compassionate associates.

Artis shows its appreciation for its staff in so many ways, but particularly by voting for a Positive Partner of the Month, from nominations made by Artis associates, residents and families.

Those associates who are honored each month are then considered for the annual Positive Partner of the Year Award within the Bartlett community, as well as for the Artis-wide national competition.

We are thrilled to announce that Artis Senior Living of Bartlett's Positive Partner of the Year for 2019 is Petra Cresson! Petra is both a housekeeper and a care partner at Artis. She has been a tremendous asset to the entire community, regularly going well above her own job responsibilities. Petra lives the Artis Way on a daily basis by demonstrating integrity with respect to keeping our building clean and tidy, and lending a hand as a care partner. She is flexible, thorough, compassionate and always willing to help wherever she is needed. She is always concerned about the resident's safety and will stop what she is doing to help them out. It would not be uncommon to hear that she stopped to change a resident or give someone a shower in the middle of her daily tasks. She has a warm, easy approach that the residents respond to favorably. You never hear her complain and she always delivers assistance with patience and a smile.

The special distinction of Positive Partner is bestowed on the associate who best exemplifies the care philosophy of "Building Positive Partnerships the Artis Way," as expressed by these five ARTIS tenets: Ability to have a voice, Respecting and Maintaining Relationships, Treasuring Each Person's Uniqueness, Integrity, Success and Recognition.
