Lake County Job Center seeking students for summer employment

The Lake County Job Center is accepting applications from middle school or high school students who receive free or reduced lunch or meet low-income guidelines for the Summer Youth Employment Program. The program, which is funded by the Lake County Board, will provide meaningful work experiences for around 215 young people this summer. Participants will work at various sites in Lake County, including a mix of private companies, nonprofit organizations, local municipalities or community groups. The young people will work around 25 hours per week. Applications are due by March 31 and can be completed on the Lake County website.
