Hutchins Road closing in Grandwood Park beginning Feb. 14

The Lake County Division of Transportation will be closing Hutchins Road to through traffic from Route 132 to Stearns School Road in the Grandwood Park area for 120 days, beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.

The closure is necessary to remove the existing culvert pipes and for construction of a new bridge over Mill Creek, according to the county transportation department.

A detour will take drivers from Route 132 to Route 45 to Stearns School Road. Local traffic will be allowed from Route 132 north to Edgewood Drive and from Stearns School Road south to Grandwood Drive.

The road will be closed to all through traffic at Mill Creek.
