Round Lake Beach police seek input

Round Lake Beach police are seeking public comment on the department and its operations from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10 at the station, 1947 N. Municipal Way. Participants also can call (847) 546-2127 ext. 121 to speak with one of two assessors from the Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation Program. Public input is part of the accreditation process, which will take place at the department Feb. 10 and 11. The accreditation team will complete its review, finalize findings and make recommendations after gathering input, reviewing standards, conducting interviews with department and village employees and reviewing the department's policies and procedures.
