Woman hurt in Huntley crash

A woman was injured in a three-vehicle crash in Huntley Wednesday, officials said.

The crash happened near the intersection of Haligus Road and West Algonquin Road about 6:25 p.m. The woman was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to Huntley Fire Protection District Battalion Chief David Eeg.

Traffic slowed as police controlled the flow around the scene of the crash, but it has since returned to normal, Eeg said.
