Mundelein District 75 blood drive honors kindergarten teacher

Mundelein Elementary District 75 will host a community blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Feb. 18, at the district office, 470 N. Lake St., Mundelein.

It is the second blood drive in honor of kindergarten teacher Kristen Meister, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in August 2018.

Walk-ins are welcome to schedule an open time slot on the day of the blood drive.

All attempting donors will receive a $10 Colonial Cafe gift certificate. Last year, there were more than 80 blood donations.
