• Juan Pop-Pana, 20, of the 100 block of North Gifford Street, Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or more, no valid license and driving too fast for conditions after a rollover crash at 2:21 a.m. Jan. 19 near Wind Energy Pass and North Kirk Road near Batavia, according to a sheriff's report.

• Wayne B. Kenneth, 53, of the 1300 block of Getzleman Drive, Elgin, was charged with felony driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 4:26 p.m. Sunday at Wing Street and McLean Boulevard for a broken taillight, according to a sheriff's report. Kenneth told police his license has been suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol, and deputies determined Kenneth had five previous arrests for driving while license suspended, according to the report.
