Schaumburg Township to host tax help for seniors

Schaumburg Township will host AARP Foundation Tax-Aide services from Feb. 3 to April 14.

This program offers free, individualized tax preparation for low to moderate income taxpayers. Appointments are required and can be made by calling Senior Services at (847) 285-4597 after Jan. 27.

Appointments are first-come, first-served and residents should call early as appointments are limited.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation's largest volunteer-run tax assistance program and volunteers are certified by the IRS.
