Congressman to honor Vietnam-era veterans
U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider will honor veterans from the Vietnam War era next month in Lake Forest. The event is set for 2 p.m. Feb. 29 at American Legion Post No. 264, 801 McKinley Road. Commemoration pins and certificates will be distributed to participating veterans or posthumously to veterans' families. To register for the event, go to schneider.house.gov/vietnam or call Schneider's office at (847) 383-4870.
