CCU hosts annual meeting March 11

WAUKEGAN - Consumers Credit Union hosts its 90th annual meeting Wednesday, March 11, at Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee.

The meeting features the election of five members to the credit union's board of directors, along with the awarding of 15 scholarships, each worth $2,000. The scholarships are selected and awarded by Consumers Cooperative Association, CCU's sponsor.

The annual meeting will feature a recap of the credit union's 2019 financial performance, including a comparison of CCU's performance to that of other financial institutions locally and nationally, while highlighting significant achievements from the past year. There will also be a look-ahead to plans for the new decade.

Members will meet the candidates for the all-volunteer board of directors, followed immediately by the board election. Those unable to attend the annual meeting can submit proxy forms, which are available Online at https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/7CaHCNk1rnU03p08um9Sj2?domain=myconsumers.org.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. 2019 annual reports will be distributed at the meeting. Tickets are available beginning Feb. 1, at all CCU service centers for $15 on a first-come, first-served basis and no tickets will be sold at the door.
