Batavia

• The windshield of a vehicle parked on the 1300 block of East Wilson Street was reported broken at 11:02 p.m. Saturday.

Kane County

• A resident of the 45W200 block of Sumac Lane near Hampshire reported a case of identity theft at 10:22 p.m. Thursday after discovering a $14,950 theft of money market investments. The victim noticed a $24.95 minimum balance fee on an account and discovered two cashier's checks that were drawn in early December 2019 in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio.

• A purse, watch, necklaces and other assorted jewelry with an estimated value of $1,850 were stolen between 11 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. Thursday after someone broke into a house on the 2000 block of Garden Road near Aurora.

• A debit card and Beats headphones valued at $300 were stolen between 10 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday from the 500 block of South Sumner Avenue near Aurora.
