Who is above the law?

It has been said by Democrats that President Trump is not above the law. Agreed, but why do Democrats treat illegal immigrants as if they are above the law? You know, sanctuary cities, etc. It seems if Democrats didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all.
