Paltine's Campbell reaches 1,000 point mark

Palatine junior Julian Campbell scored 32 points, including the 1,000th of his career, Saturday but the Pirates' boys basketball team fell to Glenbrook South 60-54 in the opening round of the Lake Zurich MLK Tournament.

Tommy Swanson added 12 points for Palatine (9-8), which will play Willowbrook next Saturday in the consolation bracket.
