Brunelli's school record 10 3-pointers, 33 points lead Buffalo Grove past Elk Grove

Matt Brunelli hit a school record 10 3-pointers and scored 33 points to lead Buffalo Grove to an 89-48 Mid-Suburban East boys basketball win over Elk Grove on Friday night.

Kam Craft added 17 points and Stephan Harris had 10 for the Bison (13-3, 4-0), who led 56-24 at halftime.

Mark Matos led Elk Grove (2-11, 0-4) with 9 points while Mauro Gray and Josh Motley added 8 each.

Maine West 48, Vernon Hills 45: Danny Kentgen scored 12 points to lead Maine West to the CSL North win.
