My wish for 2020
Congresswoman Pelosi is between a rock and a hard place. Proceeding with the impeachment process will please the far left. The impeachment will die in the Senate. Hopefully, rational thought will return to the Democratic base, and they will vote the far left out of office in 2020.
It's my wish that bipartisanship returns to Washington. We need to fix immigration and health care and support our law enforcement community.
It starts with a pledge by both Democrats and Republicans not to accept political funding from the special interests in agriculture who have benefited for decades from loose immigration policy. The same is true of medical and pharmaceutical companies that have benefited from special treatment by Congress. A pledge to reject their money will help reduce medical costs.
Federal officials in Washington, D.C., have declared for years that our national debt can be reduced dramatically by better managing our cost of medical care.
Congresswoman Pelosi, reach across the aisle, save the Democratic party and fulfill my wish.
Rational thought has to return to Washington.
