Lake County Fair Association wins five prizes from national expo

The Lake County Fair Association received five 2019 Hall of Honor Communications Awards from the International Association of Fairs & Expositions, including second place overall for last year's fair.

The Fair Association also received second-place honors for web advertising and printed promotional materials. The organization earned third place for best marketing campaign and electronic newsletter.

"We are proud of the Lake County Fair and honored to receive these awards on behalf of our board, visitors and sponsors," said Jon Brodzik, the general manager of the Lake County Fair Association. "This is a great accomplishment for us and a point of pride for all of Lake County."

The 2020 Lake County Fair will run July 29 through Aug. 2.
