Carol Stream man accused of recording people without permission

A Carol Stream man is accused of recording people in their homes without their permission, officials said.

Richard Young, of the 1100 block of Sandhurst Lane, was arrested just after 8 a.m. Jan. 4 and charged with unauthorized video recording and transmission, according to the DuPage County sheriff's office website.

Young is being held at the DuPage County Jail on $5,000 bond.
