Buchert nets 20 as Libertyville wins again

Margaret Buchert scored a season-high 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and Libertyville's girls basketball team rallied to defeat Homewood-Flossmoor 51-44 in a Chicagoland Invitational Showcase game at Benet Academy in Lisle on Saturday night.

Lauren Huber added 17 points for the Wildcats (11-4), who stretched their winning streak to seven games. Huber and Lydia Crow (9 points) each made three 3-pointers.

Libertyville trailed 23-17 at halftime but outscored H-F 20-7 in the third quarter to take a 37-30 lead into the fourth.
