Dessert demonstration at Vernon Hills library

Pastry chef Gale Gand will lead a dessert-making demonstration Thursday night at the Aspen Drive Library in Vernon Hills.

The free event is set for 7 p.m. at the library, 701 Aspen Drive. Gand will sign books after the demonstration.
