Advocate Sherman Hospital welcomes first baby of 2020

Mary and Charles Bernardi welcomed their third child, Caleb Alexander Bernardi, to the world at 12:33 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

He was the first baby born at Advocate Sherman Hospital in 2020.

He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and is 18.5 inches long.

His older siblings, Owen and Brooklyn, live in Gilberts, IL, with their parents.
