Morning crash in Streamwood injures one

Streamwood police officials said one person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lake Street and North Avenue early Thursday morning.

The injured driver was transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver's condition is unknown.

The crash near North Avenue closed all lanes of the road at about 6:40 a.m.

Authorities reopened one lane in each direction at about 7:30 a.m.

It's unclear what direction the vehicles were traveling when they collided.
