Orchard Road reopens in Aurora after morning crash

Southbound Orchard Avenue between Prairie Street and Jericho Road in Aurora is open again after a morning crash closed the thoroughfare.

The crash was reported just after 7 a.m., according to traffic alert website sigalert.com. It was reopened just before 9 a.m.

There was no word on the number of vehicles involved and if there were any injuries.

Wintry weather and high winds have made the morning commute difficult in some parts of the suburbs.

There are multiple crashes being investigated currently, particularly in Lake County.
