Naperville attic fire leaves home uninhabitable

A single-family home in Naperville has been deemed uninhabitable after a fire Tuesday evening.

The fire in the 1200 block of Andria Court was first reported at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday. Naperville Fire Department first responders arrived shortly after to find the residence's occupants safely outside.

Firefighters searched the structure, and quickly contained and extinguished the fire within the home's attic.

The Naperville Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Naperville Police Department, the Naperville Electric Department, Nicor Gas and the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and there were no injuries.
