No one is above the law

Our internal divisiveness is creating an environment that jeopardizes the future health of our constitutional democracy. The evidence appears to be clear. Our president abused the power of his office when he put pressure on Ukrainian President Zelensky to announce investigations into the 2016 campaign and the Bidens in order to receive the military aid his country desperately needed. CNN was to have interviewed President Zelenskiy on Sept. 13. The military aid was released on Sept. 11. President Zelensky quickly canceled the interview. Listening to the Judicial Hearings last week, I was expecting to hear at least some challenge to this evidence. Lots of words were spoken, but no one disputed the fact that our president made this personal request of President Zelensky. This is not all right. It is a clear violation of our laws. Impeachment is appropriate and the impeachment process should move forward. No one is above the law!
