Police: Four Naperville businesses burglarized

Naperville police are investigating four burglaries reported early Monday at businesses throughout the city.

The burglaries took place between midnight and 3 a.m. Monday when offenders forced their way into front glass doors or windows, then targeted cash registers and ATMs, police said in a news release.

All businesses affected - including those on the 600 block of South Washington Street, the 2900 block of Artesian Road, the 3100 block of South Route 59 and the 4000 block of South Route 59 - were closed when they were burglarized, police said.

The offenders suspected in the burglaries worked to hide their identities and are believed to be working in groups, using dark-colored SUVs as their transportation, police said.

Anyone with information or security camera recordings related to the burglaries is asked to call Naperville police at (630) 420-6666.
