Two hurt in Waukegan crash

Two people were hurt in a Waukegan car accident Thursday evening, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. near the intersection of Sunset Avenue and North Delany Road, according to Waukegan Fire Department Battalion Chief Joel Verbrick.

Two people were injured in the three-car crash, and they were taken to Vista Medical Center in Waukegan, Verbrick said. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
