Hanover Park man charged with selling LSD, pot

A 21-year-old Hanover Park man faces criminal charges for selling LSD and marijuana, Kane County authorities said Monday.

Dawid M. Byrgiel, of the 7500 block of Cumberland Drive, is charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of LSD and one count of unlawful delivery of cannabis.

Prosecutors say Byrgiel sold between 200 and 600 hits of LSD in early November and between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana on Dec. 17. The North Central Narcotics Task Force conducted the investigation.

If convicted of the most serious offense, Byrgiel faces a sentence of between four and 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Byrgiel posted $8,500 bond on Dec. 18 and was released. His next court appearance is set for 9 a.m. Jan. 3 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
