1 taken to hospital after I-294 crash

One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Monday night near Des Plaines, officials said.

Authorities responded to I-294 south of East Devon Avenue about 7 p.m.

One person was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in stable condition, according to Batallion Chief Scott Peirson of the Des Plaines Fire Department.
