Kirk Players announces auditions for Jungle Book'

Kirk Players will host open auditions for its spring children's show, "The Jungle Book," from 7-9:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Jan. 6 and 8, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 10 S. Lake St., Mundelein.

"The Jungle Book," a comedy adventure adapted by Joseph Robinette, is an action-filled stage presentation closely based on the original book by Rudyard Kipling. There are many fun and challenging parts available for children ages 7 and up, teens and adults.

The play is scheduled to open on Friday, March 27, at Mundelein High School Theatre, followed by performances on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29.

Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script, and are asked to bring a picture of themselves to be attached to their audition application.

Callbacks, if necessary, are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9 at St. Andrew's at 7 p.m.
