How Trump really feels about animals

Some folks have recently praised the president for signing the Preventing Animal Cruelty bill. But let's examine, what Trump actually did to help this worthy bill to pass? Did he ever mention it at his rallies as something he cared about? No. Did he ever tweet his support of this bill when it was up for consideration by Congress? No. Was he involved in any way in this bill getting passed by Congress? Nope.

Note this was not an executive order; this was a bipartisan bill that passed unanimously in both the House and Senate (veto-proof majority) so it clearly would have become law with or without his signature. As far as caring about animals, let's review what the Trump administration has done:

- Removed access to USDA Animal Welfare inspection and enforcement records, so Americans can't learn which puppy mills, zoos and research facilities are failing to comply with animal protection laws.

- Weakened the Endangered Species Act threatening extinction for many special animals like polar bears, whales and otters.

- Changed regulations allowing hunters to kill hibernating mama bears and their cubs right in their dens.

- Lifted the import ban on Zimbabwe elephant and lion trophies.

To illustrate how much the Trump family cares about animals, all you really need to do is visualize the photo of Donald Trump Jr. holding up an elephant's tail that he removed with a knife.

Stand up for president

It is time for us, the American people, to start standing up for this president. We have more jobs across all areas of our population, our retirement fund is growing and no war has been started under his administration. What is going on with this Congress? They have only gone after this president instead of passing bills that help Americans. This is getting pathetic. Don't use your hate to drive America into the ground.

I am fed up with all this malarkey. Vote. The American people need to vote on who can improve America. I do not recognize the Democrats anymore. They are not for the people. They are in it for power and gain. They think they know better, but they don't live in my world. They are aloof. America is in the best shape of our time, more jobs, more money in my pocket, retirement fund growing, the economy is helping everyone.

God bless America. Vote for prosperity. Vote.
